Yep. Sorry. Also sorry if you're sick of it. I'm not, and I'm getting ready to make a photo book to display on the floating shelf on my wall. I'm also still trying to figure out the right solution for all of my souvenir photos that makes Wanderer's Wall what it is. When I do you can bet your butt that I'll blog about it.
So, if you've been sitting around for three months wondering to yourself "Well, what else did they do in Disney World?" then you've come to the right place, because I'm about to show you!
We did what all families do in Disney. Yell at our kids that they better have the best time of their lives, and shove ice cream in their hands. We're just good parents that way. You know, just following tradition.
In all seriousness I've saved the best for last. Magic Kingdom is where it's at, it is what makes Disney, Disney. However, apparently Epcot is what makes Disney World, Disney World. Epcot was freaking awesome.
Starting in Magic Kingdom, Nick was already done with our day, and we had only just begun. This is my son, refusing to look at the photographer, that's me fake smiling and yelling at him through my teeth "smile, Nick."
And here he is again, still kind of done, and I've given up on trying to make him interact with a camera. In his defense, it was hot and he was very excited to spend $17 of his souvenir money on that blowy-fan:
Awww, there it is, love that smile. Nothing like spinning in circles to get the blood flowing:
Our lunch time helped us all feel a lot better. We ate at what is now my favorite Disney restaurant, Cinderella's Castle:
Character dining is where it's at:
You can see Nick saved his very best smiles for the lovely ladies.
I think Ariel was his favorite.
Shawn made me do it:
This was orange raspberry something, OMG, sooooo gooooood...
And the kids were able to make their very own cupcakes.
What I loved most about it was, well, obviously the food was amazing, but we were literally treated like royalty. Also, something that has bothered me at other restaurants until this one, has been the appetizers. I love them, but the kids haven't had much of a choice for their picky little tummies, and at this place they didn't even ask if the kids wanted anything before their meal, they simply brought out a cheese and grapes platter for the the kids, yes, specifically for them. As a mom I really appreciated this extra touch. The kids always get the hangrys, but this solved that problem.
This next photo is me being rude to my best friend and sending her real-time photos of her favorite character while she sat back home in Utah: (it's because I love you)
Enjoying all the rides:
Like I said, ice cream:
Followed by dinner:
And incredible fire works that literally made me cry:
Back to that delicious dinner, and my delicious husband:
And then there was Epcot! We happened to arrive during the Flower Festival. Totally gorgeous:
My girl with more ice cream, because apparently we only eat ice cream in Disney:
I should have put my shades on so I could look cool like this guy:
And these two:
I was totally in love with Mexico land in Epcot. No surprise? Ok, I'll move on:
Oh, and France... Swoon:
We walked around the world in the evening, it was cool, not muggy hot like earlier in the day, and just super fun:
This is obviously out of order, but I love these guys:
Back to Mexico, and my small obsession with skulls. I fell in love with these and picking only one to bring home was very hard for me to do.
My cool girl about to go on the coolest ride of all:
And then somehow they ended up getting eaten by a shark. "Kids are friends, not food".
